Empowering Youth Through ‘Rising Through Rugby’ Event
On May 4th, 2022, Inside Success collaborated with the Rugby Football Union (RFU) for the ‘Rising Through Rugby’ event at StoneX Stadium. Over 120 young individuals from diverse backgrounds participated, engaging in rugby activities and career exploration. Distinguished guest speakers like Bobby Kasanga and Zaynab Alema inspired attendees with their stories of resilience and success.

This impactful workshop, hosted at the Saracens Stadium, delved into the array of diverse roles within the rugby industry, beyond the traditional player positions that often receive the spotlight. Speakers highlighted lesser-known avenues to enter these specific fields, providing invaluable insights for aspiring professionals. Notable figures such as Zainab Alema, a black Muslim rugby player, shared her inspiring journey, resilience, and challenges faced, while Bobby Kasanga added depth to the discussion with his own experiences.
